Cytoplasm is filled with characteristic round mitochondria with tubulovesicular internal membranes, ample smooth endoplasmatic reticulums (r), and lipid droplets (l). b Adrenocortical cells of ANP rats in the zona fasciculata. The nucleus was seriously shrunk and dark-stained, chromatin was condensed, membrane of nucleus was tortuous. Some mitochondrion showed coagulation and mitochondrial crista disappeared or showed coagulation.
