  1. Data given as absolute numbers and percentage values of all ELS cases of the respective year. Documentation of transplant evaluations might underlie a relevant underreporting bias as numbers of performed liver transplantations are higher than documented evaluations for transplantation. The data source does not allow for differentiation if ELS therapy was used before or after liver transplantation due to national data protection laws. For details see text & Table 1
