Postoperative change in body weight, expressed as a percentage (%) of the preoperative weight, between the BOFJ group and the Non-BOFJ group, with the asterisk indicating a significant difference between the two groups. In the BOFJ group, weight continued to up to 12 months after surgery. By comparison, in the Non-BOFJ group, weight decreased to 6 months after surgery, with a subsequent increase in weight from 6 to 12 months after surgery. The rate of body weight decrease over the first month after surgery was significantly greater in the BOFJ and Non-BOFJ group
