Phosphorylated MEK1/2 was elevated in extract of HCCs as compared with ABL tissues. Human HCCs (T) and ABL tissues (N) were collected and tissue lysate was prepared as described in Experimental Procedures. Samples (100 μg protein/sample) were subjected to Western blot analysis as described [10]. Blots were incubated with rabbit anti-phospho-MEK1/2 (Ser217/221), mouse anti-α-tubulin and rabbit anti-MEK1 antibodies (A, B and C). The ratio of phosphorylated MEK1/2 to total MEK is shown in (D). Bars with different letters are significantly different from one another at p < 0.01 as determined by ANOVA test. All the samples in A &B are paired and samples in C are individual.
