PPL expression in Fxr −/−and CA-fed cholestasis model mice.PPL accumulation at hepatocellular boundaries is expressed as the degree of enhancement of immunohistochemical staining from the basal status as shown in Figure 6C. At least 4 mice per group were used for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and blind tests by multiple investigators. Western blot analysis was used for confirmation. Number of mice used for the determination of serum ALT, AST, and T-Bil levels; number of mice used for T-BA; §number of mice used for qPCR. Values represent mean ± SD.
