She presented with rectal bleeding and anemia. She was started on bulk laxatives and mesalazine enema to which she did not respond, argon plasma coagulation was performed. Follow up endoscopy showed a healed ulcer and congested internal hemorrhoids. Band ligation was performed which resulted in resolution of symptoms.Back to article page
