Hepatic PON1 protein expression over the period of CCl 4 administration. Mature PON1 appears as a double band at ~40 kDa. Low-molecular weight immunoreactive fragments are clearly observed in control rats and in animals receiving CCl4 for 6 and 8 weeks, but their expression is decreased at week 12. In addition, the expression of a high-molecular weight (~55 kDa) unknown immunoreactive protein is enhanced in CCl4-administered animals at 6 and 8 weeks.
