  1. † Conventional endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) only to snare lesion. EMR with mucosal incision is performed to incise the mucosa and snare the lesion. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is performed to incise the mucosa and dissect submucosa.
