Pantoprazole prevents to the indomethacin-induced gastric damage through depending on the induction of HO-1. (A) Mean index of indomethacin-induced gastric damages. Indomethacin significantly increased HIF-1α-DNA binding, whereas pantoprazole significantly decreased HIF-1α-DNA binding in a dose-dependent manner.
