From: Lack of Guanylate Cyclase C results in increased mortality in mice following liver injury
Histological analysis of WT and GC-C null mouse livers after CCl 4 treatment. Paraffin-embedded sections from livers obtained 2 and 3 days after injection of 1 μl CCl4 per gram body weight in corn oil or corn oil only (vehicle) were stained with H&E. All CCl4 treated sections show similar features of centrilobular necrosis as indicated by arrows, which appears to be more extensive in the GC-C KO (see Figure 6 for quantification).
